Which Radiator?

I know this comes up time to time. But some of you guys have had more experiance with these radiators now.

God speed, CXC, And Koyo.

Basically Ebay Radiators!

God Speed claims to cool 40% better than stock. $149.00

CXC is 2 rows, and doesn't claim how much better. $133.00

And Koyo is polished and pretty and only claims 20% better. $350.00

Which one is best? Or are they crap?

I have a PWR and absolutely love it. Great, even in Texas. They are more expensive, but this car had already overheated two motors previously, and since I put the third one I didn't want to see it go.

I also run no undertray, and still get effective cooling.

I got the Koyo for my NB, but it was used and only $200 shipped. Fit was perfect - all stock fans fit perfectly and mounting was bang on. It's a very nice unit. Unfortunately, I haven't started it since installing it.

Thanks,

Will I have to use slim fans with the CXC or Godspeed?

I was able to fit my stock fans with the Godspeed rad and big racing beat sway bar. If you had a 1.8 you would have to trim shit.

I was looking on FM and seen they had a metal radiator forsale.

My radiator that I have is metal. I looked inside and only seen one row of passages.
If it was a dual core, I would have two rows right. I guess they put a factory auto radiator in my car. I knew I never had a overheating issue.

But if this is the FM radiator, I'm not switching, this radiator can be rodded.

I guess I need to call a radiator shop.

GL on that ur best bet is to get some more detailed pics and develope an understanding. 90% of radiator shops know how to flush a radiator and use a parts fish 5% can weld and the other 5% actualy know there shit. If its not broke then dont fix it though when the time comes for me ima get a goodspeed probly lots of the forrum has had good luck with it.

I have a massive "coolradiator.com" in now but its untested on the track. If it can't cut the mustard, I'm going with a Ron Davis.

The guy honered the Miataturbo.net group buy! I got the radiator for 120.00 plus 40.00 for shipping. Total 160.00!
Great Guy!

I hope I don't have to use slim fans. I have the FMII IC, the tube goes infront of the motor, and down, then back to the IC. I'll make it work. Trimming is OK with me!
