I was impressed with the power too, I'm looking forward to the gains to be had with the new tune.
I think the first time I thought something was up with the o2s was after I got the new exhaust done, the afr seemed off when I was driving home so I re calibrated it and started tuning for the new 3". As I mentioned above, I just went over the engine and nothing appears to have gone awry. I'm hoping the 93, big rad, and large ic saved my ass. |
:rofl:Thread re-named..

So I've been spending most of my free time lately trying to get my tune back in order and I've come to the conclusion that it made way more power lean as fuck.
I left the timing alone and have been focusing on keeping my afr's steady at 12:1 in boost, resulting is what feels like at least a 20 hp loss across the powerband. I really don't know what to do at this point? I may try advancing the timing more to make up for the loss, or just keep leaning it out again to find a fairly safe, happy medium. I was running the previous tune for close to 3k miles with no issue and the car felt fantastic. I saw that Joe Perez mentioned that he made the most torque around 13:1 but it that really a safe thing to do? |
no its most definitely not safe at 15psi
what wbo2 do you have? |
It's an lc1 with a new sensor, the same bosch one that it came with originally. I calibrated it step by step from the lc1 manual.

Should it concern me that since the thread name has changed, I've gotten 200 more hits?:fawk:
|
Nah, you should be excited.
|
Yea! Now let's see that butt!
|
Saw title, got very excite. Now I am dissappoint.
|
Fix the fueling and bump up the timing to fix the lack of power. Better than melting a valve, imo.
