Replacemnet Rx7 Injectors a possibility for the miata?

Hello all i know this might sound like a weird question and i don't really have high hopes for a definitive answer but if you could at least take a shot it would be appreciated.

While looking for used 550cc rx7 injectors i ran across stock rx7 replacement injectors here

Mazda RX-7 CVU Fuel Injector - 1989-1991 Mazda RX-7 - CVU CVU42-12174

and was just kinda wondering if you could use stock replacement injectors for the rx7 in the miata.

You aren't making much sense, are you asking if you can use stock 460 or 550 rx7 injectors in a stock Miata?? The answer is no unless you have some way to control them with one of the aftermarket ECU's.

check the part numbers on whichever injectors you want to use with the ones posted in the turbo diy thread. If the injectors you want are not in there chances are they are not pnp for a miata. my .02

clarification

Just to clarify, i am wondering if they could possibly be used as an alternative to the ones that are described in the diy thread to be controlled by an MSPNP

almost everything CAN be used, its a matter of how much work you'd have to put into it to make it work. Are you asking if they are pnp?

Yes, you can use either the 460 or 550 rx7 injectors from the 89-91 rx7 with most aftermarket ECU's. But the injectors pictured are not for an rx7.

Yes, RX7 550s will work. I pretty sure they plug into the existing harness.

I'm pretty sure also. I wish there was some source of information that would make it more conclusive.

Maybe you should do some research on your own time for us and then write it up.

I'm like 99% sure. When I was looking for injectors to run with the EMU, I researched them. The info is out there somewhere, but I'm not about to look it up for the guy.

Come on man, do the hard work for us, and then put it all in one place so we can just click on that one thread and have all the information ready to read, with out even having to filter through an advanced search.

We know what you do with your time anyways...:jerkit:
