Reroute Interchangeable between NA and NB?
I am looking at a fleabay reroute kit that is marketed as a 1999-2005 kit. Here it is:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mazda...s#ht_500wt_956 Would this work on a 1991 NA? I have Toyota COPS so the base coils would not be in the way. Insight greatly appreciated. |
Looks like drilling and tapping the heater core supply and digging up a threaded barb is on you breh. Not like you couldn't do it for half that. I am assuming that mysterious box is a thermostat housing facing the right way. If that were all inclusive, spacer included, or all you needed to make it happen, I would say jump on it, but it aint.
Oh yeah.. Mike. |
Order a spacer and front block of plate from Begi. Then go pick up the kia water neck, then get the coolant hose from autozone and have the reroute done for $75.

Hmm, Interesting.

Is there a thread that walks me through this? Also I don't see that part on Begi's site.
http://www.bellengineering.net/produ...roducts_id=401 And here's Kia water neck/long hose info: https://www.miataturbo.net/useful-saved-posts-8/reroute-hose%3B-kia-neck-radiator-no-hard-line-needed-46698/ |
The 2001-05 Miata Mike Reroute runs the hose over the valve cover and only works if you ar running COP, not if you have coilpacks sitting behind the exhaust cam.
