Resonator in downpipe before cat?
 

I've got an absurdflow downpipe and enthuza 3" exhaust. My car is at the shop right now and the guy wants to know about putting the resonator before the cat because he can't fit it behind.

IS THIS A BAD IDEA? I kind of need to know like right now and I have no idea.

FWIW, it's a stainless downpipe, and a stainless 3" resonator, I think magnaflow, with a 12" body.

Nevermind, the guy called back and I decided to not put it there and keep trying to find a way to get it back where I want it. I swear you people posted pictures of 12" resonators there in this same exhaust before, so it must fit...
