ring end gap

Is there a consensus on proper ring gap for a moderate boost, track only t-miata build? I am thinking that .020" seems about right. But, experienced advice is always welcome.

+1 for info as well. I'm currently in agreement with you but also would like advice from someone who has had issues with ring gaps.
It is common to increase gaps for boost or nitrous but most applications (non- Miata) do not have piston cooling jets.
At what point (power level) is increasing the gap appropriate?
Or are we full of it and should not worry?

Whatever the ring manufacturer spec sheet recommends for the application

+1 on simply check with the ring manufacturer's recommendation. If you purchased decent rings, instructions should have come with them. Not always the same gap for the first and second ring. FYI, both Supertech and Wiseco have recommendations that are multiplication factors, dependent on bore size. Yes, there are different recommendations regarding the application.
