Rod choice VS $
Hi,
I'm going for CP 84mm 9:1 pistons and have affectively the choice of the following rods with the extra $ needed next to them - the car is going to be running an EFR6758 as a minimum choice along with custom bits.
Eagle rods - +0$
Manley rods - +1$
Carrillo A beam - +300$
Carrillo H beam - +650$
I'm not a brand queen and the total assembly will be balanced - just want some opinion (which MT is famous for having lots of!)

You're paying for QC (in the case of Eagle/Manley) or material quality/weight (in the case of Carrillo). The QC is worth paying for, IMO.
Every rod worth looking at comes with ARP2000s or better out of the box.

I only have ~5k miles on my ebay rods but I had them inspected and balanced at the machine shop. Truly what is the difference between manley and my ebay rods that were inspected and balanced? they surely are identical to the human eye.
They are because you added the inspection etc to them - I don't see your point?
Likely nothing. You paid your machinist to inspect and balance your eBay rods. Manley does the same job before you purchase them.
