Default 1.8 Pulley vs 1.6

I am looking to swap my 1.6 pulleys (water pump, altenator, and crank pulley over to 1.8. Looking for a small boost pump for my m45 supercharger. My question is are all 1.8 pulleys the same? The thread i saw was talking about 94-97 pulley swaps. There is a 99 near me I can get this stuff off of. (and no i dont want to put the 99 engine in my car )

There are two different crank shaft pulleys for the NB, a Cast Iron pulley and a steel pulley. If you ever intend to use a crank overlay pulley to increase the boost from the supercharger you need the steel crank pulley, the overlay pulley will not work with the cast iron pulley.

TDR Crank Overlay Pulley 90-05

From what I know, a 1.8 alternator pulley won't work on a 1.6 alternator.

How does one put a 1.8 in a 1.6 then? A NA 1.8 alternator?

Yep, a 1.8 alternator is a must.

Pity as I have 3 mint 1.6 alternators that are totally useless.
