Default 5.0 SVT Swap

What's up guys. Names ryan and it's my first time on the site. Actually I havent even driven my miata yet. Last month I was In an accident in my old SVT 5.0. It was my baby but the car is toast.

On the bright side the motor is in great shape and had a really nice intake too.

Last week I picked up a 99 white miata for 1000 bucks no engine. I'm going to drop in my 5.0 but I was wondering what I would need to do that. Can I just use the stock clutch? I'm not sure if it will fit so I might have to cut some stuff out or get a custom hood. I talked to a guy who said he could hook me up with a white Carbon Fiber hood for 1800 bucks that would raise up to fit my 5.0.

Thanks in advance. Can't wait to be a part of the miata community!

Well this is weird.

Also, call v8 roadsters, or flyinmiata. They'd help you out just fine, and i'm sure sell you everything you need.

My Miata is too slow, so I am going to swap a V8 that makes less power than the FMII kit.

I guess compared to his mustang it would be fast...
