Default RX7 Oil Cooler Info

I picked up a FC RX7 oil cooler to put on my car. I was searching for the flow direction and found the following file very helpful. It has a flow diagram (page 3) and thermostat test procedure (page 17). I figured I'd save some a Google search.

That's funny. The flow diagram (page 2-2) contradicts the labeling of the oil inlet and outlet hoses on page 2-16. I guess the hoses aren't named in an oil cooler centric fashion. Or just plain backwards.

So it has an internal thermostat?

Yes. The thermostat allows oil to by pass the cooler until it heats up. It then blocks off the by pass hole as it warms up and forces oil through the cooler.
