I would say yes it is more pronounced at low throttle simply because there is less road/turbo/exhaust/engine... noise. At WOT it sounded like a typical SC miata, well if a typical SC miata had a turbo.
I don't have any videos from when it was making good power. Kicking myself for that. I have some stuff from when the turbo was jacked.
