Side pipes on an MX5

Hi,

I came across this picture: side pipe on NC

Did any of you see this before?

I thought there was no room to get out of the engine bay to the side... how did they do this?

Best regards,

Timo

they bought an NC, and decided, "Hey, lets cut a hole and route the exhaust out the fender...then drift it"

Last time I was in Amsterdam I saw a transexual push some dude's head in one of those sea-shell shaped public urinals while it was whacking off. I should note that I know it was a transexual because I saw the genitals, lol.

Wow somebody found my home track all the way in Amsterdam, I didn't know they allowed ******** at my track

I went to that event in Portland.

It was the Mazda Gran Prix. Big event for Portland. They had a drif-ting exhibition* going on in addtion to REAL racing. They had 3 teams. The Miata team drove NC's with Cosworth 2.3L NA motors in them. They put out 290bhp @8000 and only 200 lbs torque at a ridiculously high 5600rpms. The ice dancing Miata's were pathetic. The cars kept breaking. One was done the 1st day of the event.

Thankfully it was just one exhibition a day. Real racing filled the rest of the schedule.

* drif-ting exhibition: for definition see "redundant" as all dri-fting is an exhibition. See also ice dancing, bare-a$$ed stupidity, environmental tragedy, bath-house's and wannabe for further clarification.

I guess with a big v8 in there ot would kinda make sense though still stupid. and being on only 1 side looks even more retarded.

oh lord, what kind of induction is that thing running? And they do what with it? Oh christ.

Doppelgänger 01-02-2009 09:46 AM

Guess you guys missed my post. They are running 2.3 L Cosworth motors. No big V8. No FI.

They are putting out a touch more power than I am with my 94 1.8 and BEGI's s4 system. Difference is they are breaking all the time while ice dancing around the track. The cars are loud as hell and they suck at ice dancing. Finished dead last in the "exhibition".

Doppelgänger 01-02-2009 01:20 PM

because they need better drivers......

Just like the NB turbo that CC sponsored a few years ago had a shitty driver.

N3v 01-03-2009 01:20 PM

I think that car's had a few different drivers, it just sucks for what its made for. It needs more power. That car is too heavy to initiate turns super early like other pro cars with the power it has.
