Would the Skunk2 throttle body fit on a 1.6 manifold using the FM throttle body adapter from their swap kit flipped around?

No.

I don't remember how the 1.6 manifold looks anymore but it is easy to weld the holes, drill and tap to adapt the 1.8 tb.

if you want clean, plug and play method is possible.Just find a friend overseas where he can get you a 1.6 manifold from an NB. they come with 1.8 tb on the 1.6 engine.
