skunk2 tb on a 91with 94 swap

I bought a skunk 2 tb from a member on here for a 94-97 miata.I have a 91 with a 94 swap using a flyin miata mounting plate on the 91 tb.Can I just use a 94 tb iac valve to use the skunk 2? I am using an ms3x. If it sounds like I did not think this all through you would be right.Would the brain power on here be able to help me with this? Thanks ahead

With the MS3x, you can use whatever you like. You will just need to wire it up.

I think you need the 1.8 throttle cable.

Read the vvt swap megathread.

^ That sounds correct to me. You shouldn't need the throttlebody adapter if you have a megasquirt. The 1.8 IAC/TPS sensors can be used in place of the 1.6 sensors and just need to be wired in and set up in the megasquirt.

This is the correct answer. Remove the FM adapter and then install the Skunk2 TB on the intake manifold. Wire in the 1.9 TPS and IAC connectors to the start harness and profit.
