Awesome.
The helpdesk ticket I had in to that mentioned Eric Gonz guy in the junk2 thread was answered that the plenum spacer was only needed if you're pushing 400hp, interesting that they could provide this data point but no granular data. This forum rocks.

If you want midrange, go with a vics or even vtcs manifold.

I have a VICS. The build quality is just so awful.. that turn behind the throttle body has got to be sucking Power. I will at least go flat top.. looking at low end for the skunk I doubt I’d have enough power at low RPM to spin the A/C Compressor

Those are some really stupid assumptions to make.

i need some help i currently have a BEGI inlet manifold and am considering if it would it be worth me swapping to a SKUNK2 unit as iam not really happy with the ford TB they use and i have had to repair it already when it split along the top on a weld.

my only draw back to replacing my current one the BEGI one is match ported i had it rewelded and reported it myself BEGI had it miles off and its currently working fine.

How high do you rev your setup?

I would definitely unload the BEGi on someone who doesnt know any better. Im sure it would still sell for a bit used.

I would buy the S2, put it aside and when the Begi breaks again then swap them out. The S2 will work better and will accommodate your RPM needs.
