So Mazdaspeed Miatas' have different pressureplates?

There is a guy who is selling a Mazdaspeed stock clutch for 35 dollars and it's only got 29,000 miles on it. Question I want to know, is do I use the same pressure plate...?

you would need the mazdaspeed pressure plate as well.

The pressure plate is really the secret of the MSM clutch setup. It has a higher clamping force. The actual clutch disc is similar if not identical to other 1.8L clutches.

would you need a different flywheel too? is

No, you won't need a different flywheel. Probably want to resurface yours though.

Umm, no, but thanks for your usefulness to the conversation.

EDIT: The search to answer this would have taken 35 seconds.

dude i would buy a stage 3 ebay clutch brand new for 150 or so $$ before i paid for a used clutch. eBay Motors: F1 RACING STAGE 3 CLUTCH KIT 94-05 MAZDA MX5 MIATA 1.8L (item 390030791678 end time Feb-19-09 11:33:02 PST) should last u pretty well and hold about 250 or so lbft if my 1.6 unit was any indication
