While it could have given more power, we opted for the weight reduction and improved chassis balance that omitting the spark plugs allowed.

I put about 30k miles on a stock '95 pistons with eagle rods daily driven at 332whp. Currently around 370whp on stock '99 pistons, but they haven't been in there long enough to claim any kind of longevity. I think the pistons will handle than people give them credit for.

the dyno read a bit higher than what the innovative wideband read in the car. it showed 12-12.1. i left that in the hands of the tuner as he has a good reputation and has done several other miatas. One thing i dont typically mess with is the tune, too much of a pussy for that.
