Default Supercharged Miata

Has anyone here supercharged their miata? I was looking into it, it seems to be more effective at building power than a turbo. MP62 or MP90 would be the supercharger I would use. Also, what can I do to make my car sounds less like a rice wagon? It really bothers me when I start it that it sounds like an old buffalo farting out broken light bulbs.

How is it not more effective... Are you on to something? It uses VERY little power to build a LOT of constant power, unlike a turbo. A turbo uses No power to build very LITTLE power at later RPM's. Especially on stock internals, Not everybody has $500+ dollars to spend on forged pistons/rods, and then a crank, probably around $800 forged. I can get a MP62 for $150 and finish a supercharger build under $1000.

Well, you definately changed my mind! Your 248hp supercharged miata is definately not worth the money. I figured boost would make these things atleast semi-fast. I guess not, that sucks. I would get a refund if I were you. I really like how most of your fuel lines are rubber hose instead of steel braided! Really innovative and original of you! Most people who go boost are smart enough not to use rubber hoses.

But really guys, less useless post more helpful... Who has successfully supercharged a miata and made REAL power?

How do I get this thing to not sound like an antique rice boiling device?

Turbo is better. It's like you haven't read anything on this forum. Some people on here like their superchargers, but I'm not even sure what your question is beyond that.

Miatas with real power use turbo.

For a miata 300 is plenty. We are starting to see more and more running +450.

And the number of supercharged Miatas at 300whp or more can be counted on one hand.

Stop being gay by reporting posts for no damn reason when your thread doesn't turn out like you hoped.

Okay, if the OP is reporting posts.. Jokes aside looking at the way you type we see you as a troll. No one is taking this thread seriously for that reason.

How can I stop being gay, when I was born this way? Completely rude and uncalled for on your part, I hope your 1st and 2nd child are born gay.
