Supertech LC-60 or LC-60P Lash Caps

I am installing Mazda Solid lifters and need to order lash caps. I am having a hard time finding the 6mm Supertech LC-60 lash caps in all the sizes that I need. The LC-60 caps seem to be the standard used, but while searching I found LC-60P caps. Based on specs given LC-60P appears to be the same 6mm ID, and 2.5mm deep vs. 2.8mm deep for the LC-60. Supertech website didn't have any useful info.

Anyone have experience with the LC-60P Supertech lash cap part number?

Seems like I have the same issues finding the thinner (<1.35mm) lash caps in the LC-60P. Does Supertech not make the LC-60 or LC-60P lash caps thinner than 1.35mm. Per miataroadster these lash caps should be avalible between 1.10mm to 5.00mm in 0.05mm increments. I can't find the 1.15mm and 1.20mm shims anywhere.

I did find 1.15mm and 1.20mm for the 5.5mm lash caps. If all else fails I could get these and open them up to 5.6mm to fit the Mazdaspeed solid lifters.

If the head is off you could always have your machine shop grind a little off of the tip of the valve stem which would allow you to use a thicker cap. When I sent these heads up on the bench I rarely use new shims or a wide selection of caps.

I checked with my machine shop and they can tip the 7 valves that are under the 1.35mm minimum lash cap clearance that I can currently find. I think I am just going to order a set of 5.6mm lash caps from Home to fit under the buckets based on https://www.miataturbo.net/engine-pe...uestion-92281/ discussion.

Might take a while to get here, but worked out way cheaper than re-machining half my valves or getting custom ground lash caps.
