tapping question?
 

my car is a 96 with 137,000 miles im going to turbo soon funds and time permitting. my question is this on cold start up i have some pinging and tapping normaly goes away in under a minute what is causing it and is that something that needs to be adressed before it is turboed?? thanks for the help in advance.:)

its lifter noise becuase of your HLA's (hydrolic lash adjusters). Not a big deal.
