Hello and good morning y'all! I'm just posting to see what other users with similar setups to me are running as far as timing goes.

Soooooo was this a noob question where a responses isn't even merited or are there simply not that many people running similar setups? I searched the web for similar setups but I literally could not find anyone using my setup so it's not like I haven't tried looking.
I understand m45's are not popular setups but I figured at least a couple people here would have something similar.

Side note: I know that m45's are not popular in the Miata community and after using one for the past couple of years I can completely understand why they aren't all that crazed about. My plan in the future is to get MS3, buy a VVT engine and build that with proper internals, and get a nice turbo. The idea is to be able to switch between these two motors interchangeably.

I was going to reply earlier and shied away simply because I hate to say, "Add a ton of timing!" and have you come back tomorrow with a hole in the block. Our setups are wildly different; I've got a 1.8 turbo 2000 on E85, stock 9.5:1 pistons.

In the low RPMS we're running pretty similar timing numbers, but as RPMS climb my timing map ramps timing up quite a bit. By redline I'm running more timing at 250kpa than you are at 150kpa. I've done some virtual dyno spark timing pulls and wasn't gaining anything by advancing timing down low, but I was still seeing decent gains by adding more beyond 5000rpms or so.

Of course, like I said, wildly different setups but thought I'd at least throw you some data. I've had great luck playing with virtual dyno; make 2-3 different tunes with different timing maps, find a nice flat straight road, make 2 pulls, load a new map, make 2 pulls, load a new map, make 2 pulls, then go home and load them all in virtual dyno and it's typically pretty conclusive which one is best.

Edit: I'm a retard, my whole response was missing then point this was E85 specific timing.......more coffee less stupid .
