Default Intake manifold is "stuck" on

My intake manifold is stuck on, I took the head off along with the I.M. and now i cannot get it off. I have the nuts and bolts off and i don't want to hit it any harder with the hammer. ANY HINTS?
thanks

Hit it harder with the hammer. As long as all the bolts are removed, it's just frozen to the head. Double check that everything physically attaching it to the head is off before you go assaulting it with a hammer (hopefully a dead blow rubber mallet). Maybe it has some RTV in there somewhere.. who knows.. just pry it, hit, whatever you have without damaging the head.

9 nuts, no bolts. Can you see a manifold gasket in there?

Umm...it really takes that much force? When I took the IM off my old block, it pretty much fell off when I took the nuts off.
