Turbo K24 Miata fresh off the dyno
Just finished up the turbo KMiata, have a k24z3/7 with an EFR 7163, BMW 6 speed, getrag 3.42 diff. Found out boost controller is not working so this is waste-gate 10PSI. Looking to go back for high 400s or 500

Stock engine?
These motors are freaking amazing. I did my K-swap specifically to avoid adding a turbo, but it’s nice to see the potential. Can’t wait for your next dyno session. |
VERY impressive (pos-cat added in appreciation of your engineering achievement) but what's the real-world usable limit on a track so that the rest of us can feel better about our own builds?

What is your goal? That’s a lot of power in a very small short wheelbase car? Are you doing autox? Time attack? Track days? Racing? Lots of other variables depending on your goals

Can’t wait for your next dyno session. stock block, had to do the oil pump to fit it in the car but, other then that it’s stock. Only reason we didn’t go higher is my EBC waste working. So that’s waste gate 10 PSI |
These k24 EFR cars are nothing short of awesome.
Why's the torque curve so peaky? Is that when it goes to the high lift lobes? I'm obviously splitting hairs here, just curious. |
