Turbo upgrade options
 

Hello all,
I’m digging into the forums to try and find what the best way I should go is. Now, I’m making right around 300hp on a fully built 1.6 at 20 psi. I’m using an older Mkturbo setup with a china turbo and trying to find what name brand turbo I need to put into its place before this one busts. It has a t3/t4 with a 5 bolt flange to a vband. Any input would be greatly appreciated, excuse my noobness also. This is my first post. Thank you to all in advance!

Why not ask Lars what might be an upgrade turbo that will bolt on or that he could provide a matching downpipe for? He's very helpful and flexible.

Check out Tehzacks and Sonofthehill's threads in the dyno/timesheet section. Both those guys are running larger turbo's and are putting down north of 300whp.
