Uneven idle on 2000 NB
Posted a video of what happens with the idle here :
Car has 37k miles and a FM voodoo 2 kit. Trouble shooting already done : - No vacuum leaks - checked TB and blow off valve to see if it sticks - cleaned TB and IAC Forums I have been looking at mention the IAC to be the issue - however they're fairly expensive to replace and I'm hoping that'll be my last resort. Here's where I fucked up...I called FM and they mentioned go just open up the idle screw a bit. Well I opened it up a lot, then closed it up a lot, then tried going back to the original position, but now I don't know where it's supposed to even be. I'm hoping to find out how I can get the idle screw at the right position, and then hopefully figure out why it's got a wild idle. Any help is appreciated |
Maybe try disconnecting the IAC, and see what it does. Adjust the screw and see what happens?

It might just be a bad iac since it keeps revving up a few 100 RPMS at idle no matter where the idle control screw is at (open or close)

Figured it out.
Spark. Plugs. Just put in new spark plugs and it purrs like a kitty. |
Nevermind.
