VVT and NA oil pressure sender

Are any of you VVT-swap folks running the big fat NA real oil pressure sender?

My VVT motor is still on the stand and I'm realizing that because the sender is now on the VVT feed line, it's significantly lower on the block than it was originally and it's going to hit at least the starter bracket, if not the filter.

What have the rest of you done? Grind away the bracket? Remote mount? (if so, where?) I found the steel BSP->AN->BSP bits I'd need at Pegasus, but if you've got a better solution I'd love to hear it.

Remove the starter bracket.

Or just trim the bracket, that's what I did.

No need for a bracket at all. The NB starter doesn't have one (and is 3lbs lighter even after you pull the bracket off the NA starter).

MT.net threads are as short as the bus I rode in on... thanks guys. bracket will be history.

Well I used the NA starter as that's what I had.Additionally I didn't want to be hunting a random buzzing noise that occurred because I didn't refit a stock bracket, BTDT and it's not fun ;)
