That's an old 4 rib BRP kit, definitely not a MOSS kit.

It'll be the powercard that's controlling the two additional injectors, the stock ECU won't even be piggybacked.

SDS used to have an additional injector controller.... the list says "mixture meter" but it might be worth looking at to see if it's wired into those injectors somehow.

Keyless entry, trunk lift kit, and a chrome style bar...

And since when does "Professional Installation" include JB weld?

Eh the JB weld part was just a guess. I saw some kind of sealant/glue or something on the threads.

I mean I'm not defending this stupid thing lol, its not mine, and not even the guys' (they're just gonna re-sell it at his dealership). But its CLEAN. Like the interior is flawless, underhood is super clean, and just the whole car all around is very well taken care of. This is probably the 1st miata I've seen that even comes close to the level of cleanliness my current miata is in. Most of the wiring is spliced correctly, heat shrunk, etc. There's no leaks, no missing stuff, no random terrible-ness that I normally see on kids cars around here. It was owned by some super old guy, and he has every single maint record, and every single receipt from owning it.

Sidebar: if anyone is in Sacramento/Roseville, they are located near the Auto Mall, and they will be putting this thing up for sale in their showroom in the next month or so.

Thanks for the input you guyths, I'll be hunting around for the P P P P P Powercard(s).

What I'm guessing is happening past 5k is its probably leaning out, or knocking badly, because the last time this thing was dialed in (or what some would call TUNED LOL) was like 10 years ago or something.

I'm gonna see if I can help the guy out and at least get it running decent past 5k like it does up to that point. Cause from idle to 5k it pulls pretty hard for what it is. Torquey little thing.

This thing does have a "MIXTURE METER". Its very weird, unlike anything I've ever seen before: little screen on the dash, with little led's and operates just like a wideband. Though the "range" is like 17-12 with only points for like 12-14-15-17 so you basically have to quess where its really at lol.

Seems to stay at 12 at WOT.

Does this thing read like a wideband, or should I ignore it altogether?

OMG it's THAT thing?!?!?!

I haven't seen one of those in YEARS!!!!!

LambdaBoy used to have something similar to that, but it actually worked well. Was common to be used in amateur rally cars because it was easy to read at a glance. I'd love to get my hands on one of them.

But yes, it SHOULD read like a wideband, but if it's got a gap from 12-14, it's probably not real useful. That's some serious old school ****.

It really is, it's like a halfway house between a Narrowband and a Wideband.

Mediumband?

Why is there 2 fuel lines when NB1s clearly dont have fuel return lines?

There is 1 line. Its Tee'd off twice for the 2 extra injectors

LOL Mediumband. Alright, I'll halfway trust that thing and halfway tune it just by feel/sound lol. I'm not going to the trouble of installing a wideband since the guy doesn't even care. He just wants it to stop trippin past 5k so he can sell it

I don't know. Perhaps it goes to the anal injection nozzle in the seats?

The Purple Poroise! I think it is still there. Boy did we have some good times at that bar.

I do not recall The Blowhole. Well besides some of the women my buddy Scott would pull out of the bars. They did not call him Heavy Scott for nothing.

??

I was told it had closed down years ago. We're talking about the building immediately opposite the north side of campus on University Ave, near the Florida Book Store and more or less opposite the Murphy residence area / Library West?

Funny thing is I almost burned my hand by accidentally touching the water/air ic cause it was so hot. I still can't imagine why anyone in their right mind would want to cool 100* air with like 180* water.

Needs less p-p-p-p-p-powercard and more of this. Pick one.

And hopefully you'll end up with this:
