Hi,
Id like to know exactly what fuel pressure returnless NB's have. I understand that they are pressure referenced, Id like to work out what I can make with maxxed 725's on E85. I understand that it is 60 psi, can somebosy please confirm? I have an NB8B which is fuel limited at 230whp with RX8 yellows, which seems very low... I should buy a fuel pressure test rig for my dyno. Thanks, Dann With FIC 650s, the rail held 58psi @ 20psi boost to 7400rpm with the stock fuel pump. |

So I'm having this same dilemma (might call it that??) Also yes a necro thread I'm good at that. Anyway, I too have a returnless fuel system nb1. I've got FIC 1000s and in trying to determine if my required fuel is correct. Or even my deadtime. I question this because the car wants larger ve numbers around 80-86 at idle and anywhere from 70-92ish during high rpm low load cruise. Is this an indication that something is off or just go with it? I have the injector data sheet and I asked fic what to enter in the ms2 because I'm limited to what I enter. I was told at 58psi the injectors have 1190cc of flow and a deadtime of 1.178 with .180 correction. But the injector data sheet shows other numbers. I entered the data above for my settings and got a required fuel of 2.6. Here is the info if anyone cares to confirm it is correct.
