yep lots of little parts.... The main things lost or misplaced are spring seat inserts or valve locks.... I have spent hours looking for some odd ball valve lock before....

Dale - quick question, with both my head and block skimmed/decked, the surfaces have a thin smear of light oil on them, before I mount the two together (cometic HG/ARP Studs) I assume both surfaces need to be totally dry?

Baz a quick wipe with a blue paper towel and some brake cleaner will do the job.

Once upon a time I disassembled an entire BP head to lap the valves. Thanks to the crappy webbing inside I wasn't ever able to gate any of the keepers back in. That head still resides in my basement void of all that inhabited it.
