Hey guys, just curious what everyone has been running in their motor, diff, and transmission. If it isn't Motul please let me know if you are interested in running high quality synthetics !! We have custom packages for the FA20, and EJ20/25 already but would love to accommodate your specific fluid quantity and viscosity with a new package ! Mention the bottom picture through PM or over the phone for another 5% off
:skid: Happy Driving !!!

I run Rotella T6 in the engine, Amsoil magical unicorn jizz in the trans and diff.

I continue this trend amongst all of my vehicles save for the Jeep, which gets Rotella Triple T in the engine, Amsoil magical unicorn jizz everywhere else.

NoLimitMotorsport 09-11-2014 01:11 PM

I have never heard of this Unicorn Jizz you speak of but I'll be sure to check into it hahah. Rotella is fantastic as well, she must run smooth !!

Heh... (MTG in trans, SVG in diff.)

MX6 uses some funky 90w110 or whatever in the trans. Takes a gallon of it. o_O

Not too many FA or EJ powered cars on this forum...

NoLimitMotorsport 09-16-2014 12:43 PM

Thats no surprise Efini  thats why I asked what you guys have been using and how much of it so I can price out a full fluid package for you guys if anyone was interested. Cheers

My fault, reading comprehension FAEL.

I literally stopped reading at "packages for the FA and EJ20/25" and I apologize for that.

Please ignore me...

NoLimitMotorsport 09-16-2014 05:42 PM

No worries :D ! But since I have your attention, What are you running in your set up ? lol

asmasm 09-16-2014 07:59 PM

I think the fluid package that would appeal to the most people is Rotella t6 in the engine, amsoil in the transmission and diff, and rbf 600 in the brakes.

Can you sneak the actual blue super blue fluid into the US for us please?

poissonn 09-18-2014 10:42 PM

Currently running Rotella T6 in engine and GM synchromesh full synthetic in transmission...I'd be curious to give Motul a try!

natedawg 09-18-2014 10:45 PM

rotella t6 engine, motul trans, royal purple in diff.

Der_Idiot 09-22-2014 12:16 PM

Rotella t6 5w40 w/ Purolator 14619 oversize filter
Motul gear fluids for torsen and 5spd.

robertcope 09-24-2014 04:32 PM

M1 0W-40 in the engine, Red Line MT-85 in the transmission, Red Line Lightweight Shockproof in the diff. I know, I know, my whole car is going to blow up and burst into flames because I'm not using AMSOIL fluids.

Not a single joke about sexual lubricant?

wtf is happening to mtnet

NoLimitMotorsport 09-24-2014 05:26 PM

^ I thought someone would of jumped on this earlier. Whole reason why I said lube not oil ;) hahaha

Ryephile 09-24-2014 05:49 PM

Perhaps the lube thing was just too easy? These guys like it rough, FYI.

I'll just add that RBF600 is tied for my favorite brake fluid. It has great feel and low compressiblity. The other favorite is Castrol SRF, which solves all my habitual late-braking boiled fluid problems on the track.

I'll be honest Motul engine oils are probably among the few I've never used. I'm fairly unsure why Motul has seemingly so many options though. Is there a 5W30 or 10W30 that meets API SN?

Oh but I already am!

Shell Rotella T6 5w40 in the engine
Wix 5135x or M1-110 filters
Amsoil MTG 75w90 in the 6 speed
Amsoil SVG 75w90 in the diff
Amsoil Dominator grease on everything else that moves
ATE SuperBlue/Typ200 in the brakes

The RBF600 is something I've been interested in trying, only because I don't get the color change with the ATE anymore. Now that the SuperBlue is all but disappeared off the market I have no reason to slavishly stick to that brand. Other than that, I'll happily continue to drink the Amsoil coolaid.

I switched from RBF600 to ATE because the motorcycle store I used to buy Motul at was closed one day when I needed some, and ATE was the best fluid I could find. It seems to have been OK ever since then, and since it's half the price and I can't tell the difference, I've stuck with it. I've still got one bottle of the blue stuff left. :)
