Default B6T First Fire Trouble-Need Help ASAP

I finally got to swap out engines and put my brand new built motor in. Everything got put back together, all lines, plugs, wires, sensors, etc where all reinstalled. Heres my problem.

We went to fire the engine up, and as we started cranking, the engine sputtered a little bit, and then flooded. I pulled the plugs 5 times, cleaned them, cranked the engine without them to clear the sylinders, re installed the plugs, and tried again. Everytime it trys to fire, but doesnt and floods. I have double checked Everything. Timing is dead on, spark nd fuel are very present, firing order has been checked multiple times. Im about out of ideas. I know it has to be in the timing somewhere as when we tried starting fluid into the intake manifold, it just kicked it back out while cranking which tells me its in the timing. Im sure the plugs are a little fouled at this point, so I might try getting new ones. If anyone has any ideas that I havnt tried, or any info that would steer me in the right direction, that would be most appreciated. Thanks

Yeah, thats the only thing I can think of too, but everything lines up fine. TDC set, and all arrows up. I and E on appropriate cams. The only thing that makes me hesitate is that these cam gears are adjustable cam gears, but set to 0. Wondering if they are somehow out of adjustment. Ile play with this tomorrow after work (Ironically, at Mazda).

Its the factory ECU. Nothing has changed as so far as fuel delivery, i.e aftermarket standalone, piggyback, etc. It is a Chipped ecu to handle 16PSI. But, it was done aver a year ago, and everything worked fine with the old motor.

This is all rather quick input! Thanks for chiming in! Keep it commin.

And to clear confusion, this is on a Mazda 323 Turbo. It has basically the same motor as the early miata's. Obviously, there are differences, but very close. Thats why im asking for help here, as you guys im sure know alot about them. Also, my home Fourum has since vanished on me.

lol,Nothing was ment like that. Im sure this isnt specific to just this type of motor. If you have any leads, ide be more then excited to hear it. Eitherway, thanks alot for chimming in. Hearing another party say Cam Timing too kind of helps me ensure that Ive narrowed it closer. Thanks again anyway.

DO NOT USE STARTING FLUID. If the car will not start, find the problem and fix it. Starting fluid will not solve any problems, and using it will not diagnose anything. In fact, you may end up with more problems. Its only use should be in warn out motors, that do not have enough compression to start on there own.

We only used it as a last resort and didnt use much of it, as the engine kicked it back. We only wanted to narrow down our search as to what was cuasing the problem. Believe me, it wasnt trying to find ways around the problem, but trying to track it.

Maybe you have a 12V accidentally connected to your injector harness somewhere. Holding them open.

It is for a 323 turbo, maybe it is possible they have hacked the ecu for them, which case it would be legit.

did you check for proper spark?

well, within the last few days, I found my Problem. My adjustable cam gears, like the factory ones, have two lineup slots for the came dowel. My exhaust gear was off on the wrong slot. I swapped it over and it fired right up. Anyways, I already have about 50 miles on it, found a minor leak, and fixing it up. Thanks for all the help.

You should have read post #2 and saved yourself the trouble of searching for "the last few days"
