Where to Start with Built Motor
 

SO i'm looking into building a high boost motor. Does everyone just rebuild them selves, or is that not worth it on these cars. Is it better to buy a crate motor or to just buy all the parts your self. Where should I be looking for good quality forged parts?

You really need to stop posting and start reading. EVERYTHING that you have asked so far has been answered multiple times. I can't help it that you need to wade through some posts to find what you want. Your posting of these common questions is contributing to the extra wading that another newbie will have to do in six months so help the future newbies and search! There is a lot of information in the archives.

Get your coilover and control arm situation dialed in first......
Built motor is the least of your worries at the moment.

Just to give you some ideas on pricing and such. But def search up on keywords like built, forged, rods, pistons, etc to pull up some useful stuff. But probably half the posts you pull up, will be ones just like this. :loser:

People build them themselves with the help of a competent local machine shop. Additional search term - Belfab

No crate motors here (I don't think)
