Wiring help - grounding point 11 for 96/97 model year

I can't find a ground point near the ECU connectors. I hope this was not cut out in an attempt to get rid of various clutter. If anyone has a picture on the chassis where it's mounted as the diagram appears to show around then passenger rear somewhere on the floor. I believe it was taken out as part of the rear O2 wiring being removed. Looking at the wiring diagram it appears to be on the 4Z and 3D ECU pins.

I need someone who is knowledgeable to confirm that this ground point being deleted should not cause any problems. Really appreciate some input as I am losing sleep over this and trying to go over everything before the first start on new build and new to Megasquirt. Thanks you in advance

I believe that's for the dash harness, and should be grounded on the dash bar.

Curly. my diagram tells me that grounding point 11 is for rear O2 sensor and seems to be the only one. I checked the dash harness is grounded on each side of the rollbar - #7 and #8
according to the book. The book reference is different than Mellens PDF diagrams.

My 96 has a ground wire on the harness right by the ECU behind the passenger seat. I can't see your diagram clearly because I'm using the mobile app and am not near my car to take a picture, but there is one back there.

I looked this morning and the ground is not on the ECU harness, but on the harness that runs near the ECU and goes towards the trunk.

Thank you. This confirms to me that the harness crossed over on the parcel shelf and over to O2 sensor by the drivers lap belt.
