Wiring Pinout for A/T TPS
Alright, before any of you say "Just research it", I've looked all over the internet trying to find the right pin out for this damn connector.
When I ask this question, IGNORE COLORS. I do not have the exact pigtail that came with the VTPS, I have one that fits, but has different colored wires. The pin out for the non-variable TPS is as follows: https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...bf05b1f788.png Now, can anyone show the corresponding information but on the A/T VTPS? https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...00b6f0ea71.jpg The model number is JE50 18 911 |

Does this help? From top to bottom should be 5V ref, TPS Signal, open pin, Signal ground.

This picture would help a lot if I knew which wire doesn't get used and if i could see the colors more clearly. (Middle two both look the same) |
The wire labeled idle switch in that picture is unused.
What do colors matter, didn't you say so yourself? There's plenty in that picture to get you going. |
I used to have the perfect image, but its no longer online.
just look at the 92 service manual: http://www.miataforumz.com/1990-200-...Manual1992.pdf the wiring diagram section shows the pinout and wire colors. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...cf499ff095.png 1N (R) is on/off idle switch B/LG is Ground LG/R is 5V 2M (R/B) is vTPS signal |
