Wiseco Ring Gap

I have a bore of 83.5 mm so .020 over the stock bore of the 1.8L. I have wiseco nrp xx rings I was going to run .017 for the top ring and .019 for the second ring but my machine shop went out to .021 on the second ring. So, is .017 on the top ring and .021 OK to run on the car? It will be turboed and running around 300hp

My Wiseco ring data sheet suggests the bottom ring be multiplied by 1.25 to the gap of the top. That would put your bottoms ring numbers at about .02125 which could make sense? I'm not an expert so please don't take my advice to heart but I know you want the bottom to be able to relieve pressure if possible it needs to be larger.

Not too large at all IMO. 2nd gap is larger than top, and within normal range. Run it.
