I got my Kia thermostat housing from a junkyard for $4.99. Spent about 10 mins with a a Scotch Bright pad and some brake parts cleaner and its looks all nice a clean. I saved $20 and purchased some beer for a nice celebration with change left over.

The Bell kit comes with a longer bolt on the bottom. The stud isn't that hard to remove for real men.
