I’m looking to buy a Haltech Elite 750 on the recommendation of my tuner.

On Haltech’s site they state their plug and play Elite 750 ECU works with 2001-2004 VCT (their term for VVT) and 2004-2005 Mazdaspeed cars. Upon emailing they restated what it said on the site.

So my question is this: is the 2005 VVT ECU/harness different from the 2001-2004? Is this going to be an issue across the board looking for a standalone? Is this just some oversight on their end?
