Sell a whole bunch of manifold flanges. I'm just using the el-cheapo Eastwood TIG 200. It's surprisingly good for being so cheap. I really need to upgrade to a real gas lens and larger cup though, some spots were getting dull and chalky looking even with lots of post flow.

Not 100% certain turbo no hit block. But I followed this drawing that Turbo Tim did (which he is super awesome for providing) for Wayne_curr in his thread. It's pretty close to the 30* that his drawings suggested. And if all else fails, it's only held together with a few tack welds if I have to break it apart again.

I hit it with a hammer a bunch of times, but I think a vice would have been easier and worked better. It's pretty close to the same oval. There are a few small areas that will need to be smoothed out, but good enough for me. You can sort of see the overhang in this pic. The other pipe is a little better than this one too.

These els are cast, right? And are you guys heating them up prior to reshaping to oval? I imagine it would be difficult to bend the stuff otherwise but idk.

They're cast steel and not too hard to bend without heat. When all else fails, get a bigger hammer.
