Talking Thanks for Fabulous Fabrication!

Thanks to inspiration from this sub-forum and the custom fab thread (among other sources), I finally took the plunge and got a lathe. Been wanting to get into machining and fab for many years - you guys have been part of it! So thanks!

It is an ancient thing (clapped out?) I paid way too much for, but it came with a pile of tooling, all the spare pieces (thread gears, steady rest, 3 & 4-jaw chucks, etc), and the P.O. had done a pretty nice job restoring it, so I didn't have to play that game. My first "real" project will be a metal scribe (Clickspring), and then moving on to a few sets of darts (copper, brass, steel). Future projects include: ridiculous shift ****, parts for my foundry project, pens?, various artsy stuff, properly sized pole for my custom ergotron mount, etc.

Another use for an engine crane.
So old.
Much tooling. Not sure if useful yet...
Learning feeds and speeds. Left to right improves!
Turned some scrap the previous owner gave me into something sort of nice.

btw get it...plunge...lathe....#dadmachinistjokes
