We like to share what we design. This has not been tested yet, but should be shortly. So don't go building it without your own testing.

It is 1/2" thick, and built for 1-1/2" schedule 40 pipe.

Props awarded, if I get a chance I'll laser the head side out of cardboard to confirm fitment.

TurboTim 08-17-2016 09:22 AM

Looks good. Yours matches my head scan data perfectly.

I guess I've been living under a rock. When did 1.5" pipe become the manifold size of choice?
Definitely not a fluids engineer so I won't try and claim one is better than the other, but I'd have to have a good reason to build a manifold with 1.5 instead of 1.25.

18psi 08-17-2016 12:57 PM

it's not. use 1.25 like 90% of the rest of us. he has plans for ALLOFIT in 200 years

TurboTim 08-17-2016 12:58 PM

Great question. I used 1.5" sch. 40 because it matched the factory port size when I smooshed it oval with a press. If you're making a fancy flange with a loft between the oval and round cross section, I'd think about doing it for 1.25" pipe too.

aidandj 08-17-2016 03:49 PM

I used 1.5" because that seems to be the common pipe size. My current manifold is built out of 1.25".

I'll see about getting a 1.25" drawn up. 1.25" shedule 40 is pretty small ID though compared to the ports.

Oh now I remember why 1.5". ACE Race doesn't have 321SS in 1.25 schedule 40.

Bruh. I bought a turbo and rods.

Like 100 years minimum.

aidandj 08-17-2016 04:12 PM

deezum's is drawing up a version for 1.25" schedule 40 also if you are so inclined.

Nice! Nothing like getting free stuff. Thanks for your time guys!

Leafy 08-17-2016 09:28 PM

If you use 321 stainless I wouldnt be afraid of sch10.
