i figure i would ask before i begin. i going to build proper brackets to mount my intercooler to, but before i start unbolting unnecessary things what is the simplest/fastest way to pull off the bumper?
I followed the instructions in my Haynes manual to take mine off. As always, it had a couple of unneccesary steps, but I don't remember what they were any more. It's fairly self-explanatory once you start looking around in and under there.
Hope that helps:gay:

i have no manual. i was feeling lazy and figure i ask instead of figuring it out on my own. so far i have gotten 90% of my diy system done using only the info from this site. scary isn't it.
Here's what I found after a quick search:

#10 bolts on the top (There is a black kind of large rail that is holding the top of the cover on - Easier to remove this rail along with the cover).
#10 hex screws on the bottom - Three plugs in the middle at air intake
4 ea. #10 nuts on the inside of wheel well & remove inside braces on the inside of the wheel well.
disconnect your side lights - Remove them if you wish.
remove the front wheels and the inner skirts so you can get to the 4 #10 nuts that hold the bumper cover onto the front fenders

I found the easist way was to put the car up on the lift and go to town with a 10mm socket and air ratchet...
Sorry, couldn't resist...
Hey so im retarded but pleace help me. I HAVE SEARCHED, cant see any pics.
I tried to remove the front bumper cover on mine but its stuck somwhere.
Those red dots ive removed. The blue one, is screwed from the wrong way, does it need to be removed? In that case how?
Is there any bolts ive missed?

Either way, removing the bumper should be a cake walk. If it starts getting hung up on something, just pull like a **** on it.
^ IIRC this is correct. I remember I was able to get to them quite easily with the headlight assemblies out of the car. However, I was completely tearing down the car, so they were coming out anyways...
So there shouldnt be anything more but where the blue is?
Yeah i removed a nut from there, i can see a bolt too but it seems like its been mounted from the inside of the bumper :S
Do you mean i can reach it through the wheel well?

You are missing 2 nuts in the area where the bumper meets the side panels. They are a little hard to reach, but they are found by going underneath.
That blue nut is one that is needed to remove the side panel. This is a PITA because if you have to remove the side panel, you have to remove the bumper to reach it.

EDIT: nvm didn't read Vash's post
