Thumbs up RX7 550cc Fuel Injectors - Two Sets

BOTH SETS ARE SOLD

I have two sets of 4 RX7 purple/red top Denso high impedance injectors (#195500-1370). They've tested good for mechanical action, but are used pulls and will need to be cleaned. These injectors use a square/rectangle connector vs. the Miata round style. Square connector pigtails can be purchased anywhere (I got mine at Napa for $2.75 each) and spliced into the Miata harness. These are the same injectors I am using on my Miata now. $80/set + s/h via Fedex ground (includes tracking number and insurance). Paypal preferred, personal check acceptable- but must clear before I ship. Long time ebayer- perfect feedback. - rob

Yeah, probably not in the "spirit" of a $20 injector. $2.75 for a pigtail, plus a little labor seems more appropriate.

Yeah, a bit on the pricey side I agree, but some people would appreciate a pnp solution.

Sorry, was trying to be helpful, not bring the thread sidways

Gotta be kidding me, can't believe the stuff people will buy if FM sells it to them. I should make those adapters and sell them for $16.

or you can just snip the connectors off an early mx6/probe/rx7 at the junk yard.

I can appreciate Ben's point, and FM's product because I know that there are those that don't want to cut anything on their Miata. And for them, this is the perfect solution. Of course the irony is that they probably would be buying some of those FM/RC injectors.

Wonder if you could use the entire harness for the probe/mx6 and just swap the other end with the Miata harness (if it isn't the same).

they are p&p as far as the impedance is concerned but the wiring connector is a differant shape and they obviously need cleaning and testing. as stated by the seller.

Yes - still one set left as My is buying one. These are 88 TII injectors- there was a mid year change to low impedance after these high impedance were used. They are not PnP only because of the actual connector, but as mentioned you can buy them from the parts store, a junk yard or buy the adapters (from FM and possibly elsewhere). These are pulls and have been shelved- they have proper mechancial action (just like mine did), but I wouldn't buy them thinking they'll drop in and work as-is (though they might) - they'll most likely need a good cleaning (either being sent out to a pro, or done using various techniques listed on google - more work than worth the charge from places listed on this site IMO). They work on a Miata - I've been using them on my car w/o issue for ~800 miles. PM if you want to buy and I'll provide purchase info. - rob
