Default Mistake: Turbo-manifold no go

So I got my manifold in the mail today:

1.6L HKS manifold

and I got this turbo.. TB0363 volvo garrett

I am such a stupid newbie. They don't line up. Is this manifold for standard t25s (sr20det)?

So is the 1.8L hks for T3s? Are there two HKS design manifolds? I am confused.

(sorry for the stolen pic, hope the owner doesn't mind, I took pics on my phone but my memory card is fucked up, can't load it on computer)

One more question- Can I fit a different exhaust housing on this turbo to make it work? I am guessing the housing would be too small.

Let me know if you end up selling the manifold. I have been looking for one.

Ya, like stated above. Just sell your turbo and get a new one.

Volvo turbo = T3/T4 turbo

HKS manifold = T25.

if you wanna keep the turbo:

I recommend the BEGi manifold and DP
or next the ETD Racing T3 manifold
or on the cheap the OBX log manifold has a T3 flange.

and machine down the recess on the turbine inlet

if you wanna keep the manifold:

a cheap sr20 turbo

And you can get some SR20 turbos that need rebuilding for CHEAP. on like sr20forums.com

They all use the same manifold. The main difference between all the flavors of T3 is different bolt patterns (ford-5 vs amg-5 vs 4 bolt) and different filter sizes for the various compressors.

All the compressor outlets are in nearly the same position and the turbines all use the same manifold and plumbing. Almost all the housing adaptors for the different T3 bolt patterns empty into either 2.5 or 3 inch 3 bolt downpipe flanges.

That Volvo flange is a nonstandard Volvo specific thing, no manifold will work. Just get a turbo with the normal T25 Flange. Nissan happens to use the standard Garrett flange, hence many of us using Nissan turbos.

at t3/t4 is that, a t3 turbine and housing and chra, and a tb04 compressor wheel and housing. the end.

there is an adapater to mate a non-vovlo t3 to a volvo manifold. a vovlo turbo to non-vovlo manifold just needs to e machined down on the turbine inlet.
