The fabwork to do that is pretty impressive but I feel incredibly wasted.
I'm more fond of fabwork put to good use like lovefab turbo manifolds and ariel atom frames not the worlds ugliest hoopty.

Looks to me there are some sort of leaf spring there, but i'm not sure.

trends are wierd ... I used to thing stupid things were cool, so i dont care if other people think stupid things are cool either. I just hope that one day (like I did) they will feel stupid for their folly and find a better way to waste their money.

Agreed ... except for it being impressive fabwork... useless work to me, just negates any skill used.

ahhh, it's all explained here:

http://www.cardomain.com/features/donks

Let's start with the most obvious. The suspension. Upon the conception of this new trend builders were using lift kits to fit 24s under the fender. Let's face it though, bigger is better, right? In order to go bigger, you need to think bigger. Hence, builders evolved their building techniques to incorporate suspension technologies of monster trucks.

they say the rotational force is the same because the wheel is spinning slower

If he'd just run some hydraulics to tilt that baby into the corners he'd be the bomb. When you drive a car that looks like that who cares about the comfort and safety of brakes and suspension. Who hasn't seen plenty of civics and minitrucks bouncing down the freeway with no give or damping in the slammed suspension.

Splittime. What's the name of that car in your pic. I saw them review that on top gear. Guys face was pealing off driving it. Insane piece of equipment.

It's the Ariel Atom. (ariel being the name of the company).

Ok, so I use honestly too much =P

Still don't know where he keeps it at night or how he gets into it. Or what hoes sleep with him for having such a refined and smooth taste in vehicles.

I knew I'd seen those wheels somewhere. It was the limited edition CAT 797 hooptie edition.
