twas a mistake as the guys were trying to fix ads on mobile to not display for supporters and they crossed the wires with the default view. They are fixing this as I type.

Sidebar: I had no idea what a Cadillac ATS was. Apparently it's a "compact luxury sport sedan," which is a term that seems to cover a lot of ground these days. On the plus side, it's apparently available with RWD, LSD, and a genuine manual gearbox. So that's kind of cool.

Puzzlingly, it ranges in price from $33,095 to $55,005.

That's one thing I always liked about Honda, or Acura to be more precise. I don't know if it's still this way, but 10 years ago, they didn't have options. If you were interested in buying an Integra LS, you got to choose the color and whether or not you wanted an automatic transmission. That was it. If a certain feature existed, it was standard equipment. If it didn't exist, then it wasn't.

Power windows? Standard.

Power locks? Standard.

ABS? Standard.

Ugly cloth seats with some sort of vaguely floral pattern printed on them? Standard.

Sat Nav? Go fuck yourself.


I'm sure that any system in which it's possible to increase the MSRP of a vehicle by 66% simply by way of a dizzying array of options has got to be a lucrative business model, especially since the base model is usually pure fiction as far as dealer inventory is concerned. I can't help but be annoyed by the fact that someone would actually pay $55,000 for a four-door GM sedan, though. (Did you know that you can buy an E-class Merc, a 5 series Bimmer or a Cayenne for less than that?)

The ATS I had was like $45k at its base level and is still more coin than I could imagine dishing at it. Still a blast to drive... will hoon when $10k used.

Can you fix the fucking popups that make it almost impossible to use a mobile to view the site.

Shouldn't be any now for logged in on mobile if you are talking about the curled page and the kontera ads. Only ads on mobile for logged in should be the top and bottom little banners.

As for ads on regular browsers, I haven't see any that I can blame miataturbo.net for, but last week a program called Playtopus got installed (I don't want to talk about how.) Until I uninstalled it I was getting the underlined words mouse-over things and pop ups, impotence, flatulence, etc. As I said, I can't blame that on mt.net.

Loose the adds else 240 is going too stort useing spillchuck on yuo!

I have no problem with IB accepting advertising revenue, but they also accepted $40/yr from me to be ad free. Somebody's sad.

We will have to sort that out because they are telling me desktop will always be the same but the top and bottom on the mobile theme and the upcoming mobile application will not have usergroup specific ad templates. The page curl annoying pop up is the only thing I am able to remove for you guys on the mobile side.

I'll talk with Brain and figure out something for you guys who did pay... cheaper membership, cat poster, refund, sexual favors, etc. The alternative is to simply not give MT and the other 5 or so sites with the no ad option the new mobile app until we figure the ad situation out but that is nuts and there is a better solution. I'll do what I can to try and sort this out for you one way or another.

This forum's on Tapatalk? Can't find it.

An application similar to Tapatalk, but free, is in the works and should be released before Spring.

I was just pointing out that taptalk, after you pay a few bucks for it, has no ads. No, mt has not been made accessible for taptalk.

I've forgotten what ads look like, I use Chrome + adblock. I'd rather have Tapatalk than a "free" (full of ads) MT.net app.
