Default "My Threads" Close, but not there

The button with the cat, marked "My Threads", actually pulls up threads in which I have posted, not just threads I started.

Isn't this the way it's supposed to be?

It's the way i prefer it anyway.

Top left. Threads or posts. About where the new reply button is on this thread.

Sometimes I want "My Posts", but other times I want "My Thread", as in those that I started; much fewer items returned.

As far as i know that's always been a "search" feature that is hotlinked on your profile.

Nope, that's not what I mean, either.

We used to be able to sort as you suggest, return total threads, or only posts. What I'm talking about is differentiation between any thread I posted in vs only threads I began.

Still don't know where you found this, but I did bookmark it and it does work.

Thanks

Still, used to be available on the main page and was separate from My Posts. For me, calling "My Posts", "My Threads" is at best, misleading.

The Grumpy link is just a top-level manifestation of the old "Threads I posted in" link, which used to be buried one level deep under a drop-down at the top. It's intended to give you an easy way to view all of the threads in which you've recently been active

If you want to see only threads which you started, that can be accessed under the Statistics tab of your user profile page:

This is where it's always been.

I swear that you guys are messing with me, and that I used to find my started threads from the front page, maybe in the name drop down. Nonetheless, you have helped me find what I need, and for that I'm grateful.

This can be closed.

You're not wrong...I think there was a drop-down along the top that was labeled "Quick Links" or something like that. It included both "Threads I have posted in" as well as the "Threads I started" link that you remembered.

Grumpy Cat button gets a thumbs-up from me. Saves time since you used to have to go into advanced search to achieve the same thing.

See Joe's post and the one above yours. The grumpy cat only saves one click from one of the old ways to access it.

Agree I use "threads I posted in" more often, but I sometimes want to add to a thread I started, but have not recently added to. Hence missing that when it left.
