Teaching him how to use his current one would be better and cheaper.

You'll get unlazy, go to where he is, and teach him how to use his camera?

I've hired a committee of experienced individuals to help decide whether we should teach him to better use his camera or buy a new camera for him. The combined total cost of the committee is about $436/hr (or $672/hr if it's a tuesday or wednesday when the lawyer is working.) I've given them 90 days to come up with the answer, but since I didn't want to stress them too much, I told them I would grant them extra time if they needed it. The total cost of the committee is going to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $272,777.15 assuming they don't request an extension past 90 days. Since starting this morning, they've been churning data all day, and they're so smart that they've only asked me one question - the lawyer came to me and asked: "If we should need an extension, how would we request it?"

Don't worry about the costs guys - it's for a good cause - and since I was able to get congress to slip me into an important bill, they've allowed me to tax all current and past MT.net users, which should seriously reduce our individual costs down to only a few hundred dollars a piece!!

On a side note, I had to bribe 3 congressman in order to get it all through, they assured me that the bribe could be included in the tax - it's a real bargain though, I only had to pay them $25,000 each - that only works out to an additional $126 per site member!!

I'll let you guys know what they decide in about 3 months!!

Just FYI the committee is required to have at least 1 mt.net staff member on board to over see what all is going on. I will gladly step up for this roll. My time is unfortunately not free, as I have to dedicate a great deal to making sure there is no 10 post spammers on mt.net. So the charge for 90 days worth of over sight will be 25k.

Sorry Guys, I hate to break it to you, I am NOT a god. Just a lesser Deity that walk amoung you mortals.

Since you are all paying off with the big bucks to get this all approved...

Just let me know where to have the bill sent so I can get this...

http://www.sunnen.com/engine-buildin...-cylinder-hone

and this...

http://www.rottlermfg.com/boring-mac...php?model=F69A

As far as the camera goes, well its old, been in the shop 5 or 6 years, It is an old finepix A340.

Some of these write up I have posted are that old too.

I started doing them for a couple local car fourms
Race850.com and Driven2modify.com

From those boards, I learned thant the Noobs did not know some of the basics, and I took for granted knowing.

One being that a belt surfaced head will seldom hold a MLS HG.
When one guy installed 3 HGs in as many weeks, I told him to bring it by the shop and let me look at it.

Thats when I wrote "Why NOT to let your head be belt surfaced."

But if someone wants to come hang out and take pics with a good camera, you are welcome too.

elesjuan I just loaded a couple of pics of a Belt surfacer

https://www.miataturbo.net/engine-performance-56/why-not-let-your-head-belt-surfaced-64394/

All it is is a big assed belt sander with 40 grit and a machined plate under the belt.

They are cheap to buy, easy to use, and no set up time.

If you ever go have a head surfaced and thats all they have, go find another machine shop.
