Default Editing existing post?

I've got a question. I was trying to edit the price in the original post of my classifieds thread but I don't have the "edit" option. I have 5 posts in that thread and only the last one is editable. Is it something I'm doing wrong or is that no longer an option?
Here's the thread:

The ability to edit expires after a certain time period.

Try being told you can't edit or post in your own thread because your post count is under 10. The best part is, I had over 10 posts to make my FS thread, that count dropped to 6. So now I have to make pointless posts like this one to pad my post count.
