Feature request: Link from photo gallery to post
Am i allowed to make feature requests? I am but a lowly noob
Every once in a while i see I cool picture in the top photo gallery bar on the frontpage, but there is no easy way i can see to go to the thread that that picture is posted in. Currently im clicking on the photo, copying the photo-posters username, pasting into the search bar, and loooking for latest posts. No chace of a link to the thread in the gallery page? Ta! |
Agreed, the current photo gallery bar at the top is pretty much useless and borders on more frustrating that anything else. First time I saw a pic up there that I wanted to know more about, I clicked on it expecting it to take me to the thread post where it had been inserted so I could read more about it. Fail. Now I just ignore that bar.

I actually came here to the Front Desk section to request this exact feature, Ive been thinking about it since the Gallery preview thing popped up.
@IB Nolan, if this is possible, can we please get this added? :party: |
<p>This idea is the last remaining update we have had pending for a month or so on the gallery. The pictures are useless many times without context and this is long overdue. </p><p>I will push the guys to try and get development going on this update so we can roll it out and test it here on MT. </p><p> </p>

Our Gallery team had a big project and they have kindly put my tickets in the corner. Thanks for bumping as I went and yelled at them for not touching this and hope I can get it updated soon.
Sorry for the slow movement on projects lately but I am pushing for things to get fixed...I swears. |
