FS thread help. Cannot edit my post for updates.

Heys guys, I need to make a update to my FS thread, but I can't edit my first post or any of them for that matter. Is it due to the amount of time since my last update? It's my first FS thread so I am still getting used to it and learning the ropes.

Any help would me much appreciated,
Josh/

PM a mod of the classifieds or an admin.

I guess I have to now. I thought front desk was the place to go for these sort of things.

Lol, I was about to start saying some weird shit since I thought nobody was ever going to look at this.

Well...it is. But I'm curious as to how many of the higher ups actually read shit that is posted here.

I'll go over there. Sorry, I'm hardly on on weekends. Waiting for re-air of US MotoGP race and dicking around...

EDIT: I can edit for you, but admin will have to renew the thread for you, I think it's uneditable after 45days or something.

Ok thanks alot for the information man. I sent a PM to brain to see if he can help me out. I had a hunch that it was related to the amount of time since it's been up. But, it's just a slow economy I guess.

Thanks,
Josh/

Honestly, in this situation it's best to copy the updated information into a new thread, just be sure to lock your old one. Since they added the "sold&lock" feature it makes it easier to manage your own FS ads. I've done this before when a multi-part thread got a little long in the tooth and I needed to move the last few parts with new attention.

I'm on a few forums where this is frowned upon, and where you can't even bump (wtf right). Luckily here we're really lax. Bump away, transfer to new thread, etc....just follow the existing Classifieds section rules.
